Meet Dr. Tran

Dr. Tran is a general dentist in North York. He takes pride in helping his patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health.

Dr. Philip Tran has been a practicing general dentist for 10 years. He completed his undergraduate education at York University in a Specialized Honours Biology program. He later attended Schulich Medicine and Dentistry at Western University to complete his dental education and completed the program in 2015. He began his career in dentistry right away in general practice working in many different communities and regions of Ontario and finally settling here in North York. He speaks Vietnamese in addition as a second language.

Dr. Philip strives for excellence in all areas of dental treatment modalities and continues to improve himself through dental continuing education. From basic dentistry such as fillings and crowns to oral surgery that includes wisdom teeth removal or implant placement, Dr. Philip always seeks to improve his skills. He takes pride in providing treatment that is predictable while involving the patient as much as possible in the decision-making process. He also provides Invisalign treatment to patients who want to improve function or to achieve a patient’s specific smile/cosmetic goals.

Dr. Philip takes great joy and pride in being able to provide dental care to all members of the community, especially while working with pediatric patients. He understands that being a patient in the dental chair is not where most patients want to be and that this feeling is further amplified in pediatric and nervous patients. He focuses and aims to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment and experience for these patients, and it translates to all patients that choose to sit in the dental chair.
